Orktober 2026: Teef Moon
A miniature for the annual painting movement.
This is Teef Moon ↗ , a Bad Moons drummer.

The paint job is a bit of a test to see if I can remember how to paint Ork skin, and whether the technique still works with the Nostalgia '88 paints. White undercoat, Bad Moons Yellow, Ork Flesh, then washed with WAAARGH! Green ink.
I used a cotton bud to stipple the drum skin with a wet blend of paint & ink to avoid visible blush strokes on the flat surface. I tried to use masking tape to create a stencil of a moon, to less than satisfactory results. He's an ork. He won't care.
The model is a 1996 Orc from Games Workshop, which must make its release concurrent with Warhammer Fantasy Battle's late 4th or early 5th editions.
I got him to accompany my Goffik Rokkers but they are being fashionably late in their arrival. I like to imagine the drumstick is a home made potato masher ↗ .
