| Equipment | Equipment loadouts are derived from the equipment tables in the Age of the Imperium section of the rulebook. Leader loadouts are based on squad leaders and include 1-per-squad items. Trooper loadouts are based on squad members and may generate special weapons in proportion to the number present in a squad. |
| Humans | Base human profiles don't come with equipment; some basic loadouts have been invented. |
| Abhumans | Abhumans don't have equipment charts; they have been given the same ones are Warriors of the Army. |
| Psychic mastery | Determined by a D4. |
| Hand weapons | Swords, knives, combat accessories & hafted weapons have been consolidated under the term hand weapons. |
