About

This applet requires a copy of Warhammer 40,000 2nd edition. The algorithm approximates the game set-up process from the rulebooks & favours expediency over slavishly recreating the rules.

Features:

Players should choose whether to attempt to cancel out an opposing Strategy Card should they draw Traitor. If more than one opposing card is elligible one is chosen at random. If there is no appropriate card to cancel out the Strategy Rating will be enhanced which is the default behaviour.

If a player fields a Callidus Assassin check the box to cancel out a random Strategy Card.

If Ork or Tyranid players select Codex Imperialis & Codex Army Lists they get the same mission and strategy options as other players. Select the codex entries to apply the special rules from those books.

The app doesn't cover allies. Allied units must be placed in their own Strategy Rating order, lowest first. Dice off for ties.

Codex Sisters of Battle is intended to be an enhancement to the Agents of the Imperium list. It has been given a nominal Strategy Rating of 0.

Necrons always deploy last and take the first turn. They have been given an unbeatable Strategy Rating of 20 to reflect this.

Users may configure the selection of missions and strategies available and save this configuration to local storage.
